Waldorf Astoria Ras Al Khaimah has promoted Marco Pedna to the position of hotel manager from director of operations.

In this new role, Pedna will oversee all aspects of the operations and strategic performance for Waldorf Astoria Ras Al Khaimah.

With more than 14 years’ experience in the hospitality industry, Pedna's enthusiasm for the hospitality industry has taken him around the world with his experience spanning several countries at some of the world’s most revered resorts including - Conrad Algarve (Portugal) and The Augustine – Rocco Forte Collection (Prague, Czech Republic).

He began his career as an assistant food and beverage (F&B) manager in 2001 at Hilton Margarita & Suites (Venezuela) before working his way up to F&B operations manager at Hilton Park Nicosia (Cyprus) in 2003. After holding a number of similar positions across the globe, he moved to the UAE, joining Waldorf Astoria Ras Al Khaimah in 2014, where he held the position of director of operations until August. Working successfully with Waldorf Astoria Ras Al Khaimah for the past five years, Pedna is delighted to take on this new role at the property.
