Sidra Capital's CEO, Hani Baothman: Saudi family offices one of the key players in UK real estate investment market

February, Jeddah: Sidra Capital, a Saudi, Shari'ah compliant and CMA regulated financial service company, participated at the annual Euromoney Islamic Finance and Investment Conference 2015 in London. The conference which is themed "Globalizing Islamic Capital Flows" takes place against a backdrop of the growing importance of Islamic finance in the global economy. The UK's Islamic Finance Task Force, has set, as one of its primary goals, making London the European hub of Islamic finance. Participating in the real estate investment panel Sidra Capital's CEO, Hani Baothman, shed light on the interests of the evolving investor base in Saudi and the GCC.

Sidra Capital currently manages assets worth approximately USD400 million (SR 1,6 billion) which are all invested in alternative investments while the Corporate Finance & Advisory team has completed numerous transactions across a variety of different sectors and have raised capital of around a total of SAR 800 million.
