Muscat: Voltamp Energy has appointed Ganesh Nadgouda as General Manager of Voltamp Power, a state-of-the-art 220KV power transformer company at Sohar. 

With 22 years of experience in the power transformers industry, Ganesh has been with Voltamp for the last six years -- initially with the Qatar Joint Venture and lately as General Manager of Voltamp Transformers Oman at Rusayl, in addition to being the Acting GM for Voltamp Power for the last few months.

Speaking on the new appointment, Alok Bhargava, the CEO of Voltamp Energy, said that "The Power Transformers factory at Sohar will lead Voltamp's future growth and this appointment reflects the importance Voltamp attaches to this world class facility." 

After taking charge, Ganesh briefed on his strategy saying, "The focus will be to offer world class products at competitive prices, as well as train as many Omanis as possible to take up this challenge."

Voltamp Energy is an Omani public company engaged in the manufacture of a wide range of transformers and switchgears through its four factories, all located in the Sultanate of Oman.
