App launched to deliver housing services in Bahrain

MANAMA: A new smartphone application has been launched to deliver premium housing services to citizens round the clock.

Owners of iOS or Android smartphones will have access to eight main services through an electronic key (e-key).

People can apply for a housing unit, land plot, Mazaya, or loans to renovate, construct or purchase houses in addition to a range of other digital services.

Housing Minister Bassem Al Hamer stressed the importance of the innovative application which provides a channel of communication with citizens.

Users will also be able to get informed about their applications and update their documents and other personal details, in addition to communicating with the committee in charge of studying humanitarian and urgent cases

The application has undergone a trial period to ensure its effectiveness.

It will also be subjected to evaluation at a later stage to ensure its ability to communicate securely and smoothly.
