ART MARINE Marinas, the leading marina management company in the Middle East, has been appointed as supervisor for the management of Ayla Marina in Aqaba (Jordan). This new 430 hectare community development is strategically located on the pristine Red Sea shores and is very close to Saudi Arabia and Egypt.

The Ayla project is a world-class destination that embraces tourism by creating recreational and residential communities around a series of man-made lagoons in Aqaba. Overlooked by the Marina Village, hotels and various residential and commercial developments, the Marina Lagoon acts as the site's gateway to the sea. This expansive lagoon will have 294 berths in its final phase and will accommodate vessels up to 40 meters, in a mixture of permanent berths for the residents and temporary berths for visitors.

ART MARINE Marinas has been selected for the task of supervising the management and operation of the marina because of its extensive professional experience, excellence of services and knowledge of the region. AODC believes ART MARINE can enhance and develop the marina further and put Ayla's project marina on the region's marine recreational map. One of the targets is to make this project a world-class destination for the boats owners and the tourists from all over the world.

The Managing Director of Ayla Oasis Development Company, Eng. Sahl Dudin, emphasized that the partnership with ART MARINE is a strategic one and aims to provide premium marine services in Ayla Marina, the largest Marina in Aqaba and one of Ayla project's major components. "We look forward to delivering exceptional marine services and luxurious experience to boat owners in Ayla through ART MARINE", he added.

Bruno Meier, Chief Operating Officer of ART MARINE and Head of Marina Division, said: "The Ayla project is a fabulous holiday resort and without any doubt it will become one of the most sought after tourism destinations in the region. We are thrilled to have been selected for the management of this beautiful and unique marina. Besides of implementing our high standards of operation, we will also create a life style that will reflect the values of the Jordanian culture and hospitality"

About Ayla Project
Ayla is one of a series of developments on the strategic master plan of Aqaba Special Economic Zone Authority which will transform Aqaba from a port of commerce to a true sustainable waterfront community which combines opportunities to live, play and work. The aim of the Ayla development is to create an international recognized resort community that is sustainable and unique, with developments that are appropriately balanced and which meld into a compelling bigger picture. It will be this approach to creating a mixed-use community, which will make the Ayla development successful.

Once completed, the project will feature a range of facilities and amenities, including a variety of up-market hotels, unique residential communities, a golf course and a town center encompassing a marina, retail units, cafes, entertainment and recreational facilities, built around the man-made lagoons.
