In line with its mission to herald regional thought leadership in the life sciences and biotechnology sector in Kuwait and the region, Kuwait Life Sciences is proud to announce the publication of a chapter by Dr. Mussaad M. Al-Razouki on "Growth Hacking Healthcare:Scaling Your Venture" in the book entitled: Digital Health Entrepreneurship by Springer, a globally active publisher dedicated to the advancement of science. The book presents a hands-on approach to the digital health innovation and entrepreneurship roadmap for digital health entrepreneurs and medical professionals who are dissatisfied with the existing literature on or are contemplating getting involved in digital health entrepreneurship. Topics covered include regulatory affairs featuring detailed guidance on the legal environment, protecting digital health intellectual property in software, hardware, and business processes, financing a digital health startup, cybersecurity best practice, and digital health business model testing for desirability, feasibility, and viability.

Digital Health Entrepreneurship is directed to clinicians and other digital health entrepreneurs and stresses an interdisciplinary approach to product development, deployment, dissemination, and implementation. It, therefore, provides an ideal resource for medical professionals across a broad range of disciplines seeking a greater understanding of digital health innovation and entrepreneurship.

This is the second time that Dr. Mussaad has been invited to contribute a chapter to a Springer publication on digital health. In early 2018, Dr. Razouki contributed a chapter on "Who Will Pay for Digital Health: The Investors Point of View" to the book entitled: Digital Health: Scaling Healthcare to the World addresses the emerging trends and enabling technologies contributing to technological advances in the future practice of healthcare in the 21st Century and beyond.

The book presented a comprehensive state-of-the-art approach to digital health technologies and practices within the broad confines of healthcare practices. It also provided a canvas to discuss emerging digital health solutions, propelled by the ubiquitous availability of miniaturized, personalized devices and affordable, easy to use wearable sensors, and innovative technologies like 3D printing, virtual and augmented reality and driverless robots and vehicles including drones. Indeed, one of the most significant promises the digital health solutions hold is to keep us healthier for longer, even with limited resources, while truly scaling the delivery of healthcare.
