Bahrain's new Bahrain International Airport Air Traffic Control Center building, featuring the latest technology, will be ready and delivered by the end of 2020.

Transportation and Communication Minister Kamal bin Ahmed Mohammed, Minister of Transportation and Communications today toured the building where he was briefed on the latest developments in the work progress.

The building will be among the most modern air control centers in the region as it was designed according to high engineering and technical standards and equipped with the most advanced air-traffic control equipment, the minister added.

The building covers 3,120 square meters and features a main hall with advanced equipment for air traffic control, a special room for the equipment operating the devices and systems and several other facilities.
