Dubai: The UAE Federal Electricity and Water Authority (FEWA) has signed a cooperation agreement with Mashreq Bank.

Under the agreement, FEWA’s customers will be able to pay their bills through the bank’s variety of channels in the UAE and abroad, according to an official statement released on Tuesday.

“The Federal Electricity and Water Authority is entering into a new agreement with Mashreq as part of its continuous efforts to provide more channels of payment to its customers,” director of revenue and credit department at FEWA Sheikha Murad Al Balushi said.

Dubai-based Mashreq Bank continues to introduce new innovations every day to facilitate, accelerate, and simplify financial transactions, group head of the bank's retail banking division Subroto Som commented.
