ABU DHABI- 'Morocco in Abu Dhabi' concluded its third edition today, having enjoyed remarkable success and unrivalled attendance from UAE citizens and residents.

In its third edition, the event attracted a massive attendance surpassing 16,000 visitors, marking it as a tremendous success. It showcased many aspects of Morocco’s rich cultural heritage in architecture, music, art, and cuisine, in addition to customs, traditions, fashion and the Moroccan Heritage Museum, embodying the diversity between different cultures within Moroccan society.

Matar Suhail Al Yabhouni, Federal National Council Member and Chairman of the Higher Organising Committee of the event, said, "Following the directives and tremendous support of our wise leadership, welcomed by President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, and supported by His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, Morocco in Abu Dhabi is a true testament of success, and highlights the strong and historic ties between the UAE and the Kingdom of Morocco."

Al Yabhouni thanked H.H. Sheikh Hazza bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Chairman of Abu Dhabi Executive Council, and Prince Moulay Rachid who attended the opening ceremony of exhibition, and went on to praise the support, attention and recognition of H.H. Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Presidential Affairs, who has had a great impact on the success of the event, reinforcing the ties between the UAE and Morocco. This support has enhanced our political, economic, scientific, touristic and cultural relationship, and has helped introduce the UAE community to the intrinsic Moroccan culture and heritage, he added.
