Dubai, 10 March 2016 - Dentons is pleased to announce that Matthew Showler has joined the Dubai office as a partner in its dispute resolution practice. Matthew arrives from the Dubai office of King and Wood Mallesons.

Matthew is a specialist in international arbitration and litigation and has acted for a wide variety of financial institutions, multi-national corporations, governmental institutions, NGOs, Heads of State, high net worth individuals and FTSE 100 (or equivalent) companies. He is an English qualified lawyer who has practised in the United Arab Emirates since 2010.

Matthew has been involved in several high profile DIFC Court cases which have been key in developing the jurisdiction of the DIFC. He has experience throughout the Middle East and his practice spans a range of jurisdictions including  Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Russia, CIS, Isle of Man, the Seychelles and the British Virgin Islands.
