Bahrain’s Tatweer Petroleum has invited bids from leading developers of oil and gas projects to provide non-associated gas compression facilities (NCF) within its key reservoirs in the kingdom.

As per the new gas management strategy, Bahrain is focusing on increased gas injection at reservoirs to improve oil recovery and these NCF facilities are being intalled as a long-term solution to meet the non-associated gas (NAG) demand for maudded gas injection and the sales gas, said Tatweer Petroleum in its tender notification.

Since most of the associated gas/residue gas will be utilised for gas lift, the burden on Khuff reservoir is increased to compensate and make-up, it added.

The last date for submitting the bids is November 27.-TradeArabia News Service
