Manama:  Zain Bahrain, a leading telecoms operator in the Kingdom hosted a developmental talk session titled ‘Heart intentions’ for its employees and invited Master Fawzeya Alsendi, Founder of the Bahrain Positive Energy Center as the spokesperson. The aim of the workshop was for employees to understand the challenges of 2020 and create a positive vision for the reception of 2021 with love. The talk session is one of Zain Bahrain’s main developmental programs towards employee well-being and comes under the company’s Zain TALKS program, started in 2018 to bring and host local intellectuals to speak to Zain Bahrain employees.

Zain Bahrain has stayed ahead of the curve and is a trendsetter when it comes to employee wellbeing, health and safety, with many previous initiatives and talk sessions that have focused on overall employee wellbeing and happiness.

The spokesperson of the talk session, Master Fawzeya Alsendi, is a prominent reiki and energy therapist in Bahrain with a Certificate in Ultimate Empowerment in Reiki Science from Australia. The session comprised of various breathing techniques, meditation, and energy attraction techniques. Through the various processes the employees learnt about purifying and fortifying the etheric body and aura; freedom from energy barriers: fear, anger, sadness, jealousy, etc.; positive affirmations of love; the energy of attraction and manifestations; and purifying awareness in understanding the challenges of 2020 and then moving forward with a positive vision for 2021.

Rana Al Majed, Manager Learning and Development, at Zain Bahrain said, “We at Zain Bahrain have always placed our employees and their development at the forefront and have provided them with expertise and skills that not only assist them at their workplace but also help with their overall development, including the psychological aspect. Despite the current circumstances, this matter has not changed and in fact, is one of Zain Bahrain’s core pillars. Our employees have managed to successfully overcome the difficulties this year has brought and as a result, it has increased our productivity and teamwork. This certainly confirms our ability to overcome any challenge that may come across in the future and our preparedness to handle any difficult situations be at the workplace or life in general.”

Commenting on being the spokesperson for the Zain Talks session, Master Fawzeya Alsendi, said, “Everybody around the world is trying to adjust to the new normal due to the pandemic. We can see an increase in the human component of fear, anxiety, and stress and it is extremely important to take care of our mental health and stay positive at such times. Employees need to adjust to the drastic changes in how we all work. Through this session, I am assisting the Zain employees to not only focus on positivity but also on how to create a positive vision and welcome a new year with love and celebrate every little success. This will help reduce fear and anxiety, create more trust and connection, and help us thrive as we overcome our current challenges. I am extremely thankful to Zain Bahrain for inviting me to be the mentor for the session and in spreading positive energy.”

Zain Bahrain will continue to host Zain TALKS discussion events in future at the Zain Bahrain tower to inspire their employees and maintain a healthy work environment that sustains happiness, wholeness, creativity and productivity as well as connecting them to the outside world.
