Dubai, UAE: Grey Matter, a group offering consultancy and life coaching services across the GCC, Europe, and Asia, and Axios International, a global consultancy that delivers solutions to drive access to healthcare in emerging markets, signed a memorandum of understanding to collaborate on the empowerment of patients through Life Coaching.

Throughout their treatment process, patients, especially those suffering from chronic diseases, may experience inner unrest and be caught in a vicious cycle. Life coaching is effective for reducing anxiety and empowering patients with the ability to cope with chronic disease. Through Axios International’s managed programs, Grey Matter will support patients with a life coaching program that will enable them to maximize medical benefits during their treatment journey.

The program integrates five modules developed by experts in Life Coaching, Patient Behaviour, Human Development, and Patient Education. The five modules, Educate, Empathize, Engage, Empower and Endorse are reflected throughout medication, body and movement, belief system, and spirituality. Through this approach, Grey Matter & Axios help patients manage their treatment which in turn maximizes medical benefit.

Kais Badran, CEO of Grey Matter Group said: “We are very proud of our partnership with Axios International which will allow us to reach patients, provide a unique service and help them manage their treatment journey better through a scientific approach.”

Anas Nofal of Axios International said: “Partnering with Grey Matter is a reflection of our patient-centric approach and our continuous innovation to build a support system around the patient. We ensure the patients’ treatment plan in all our programs take a holistic approach where all unmet needs for the patient are considered and addressed.”
