MOSCOW - Gold production in Russia rose 9.3% in 2019 to 343.54 tonnes from 314.42 tonnes the year before, the finance ministry said on Monday.

Production included 286.05 tonnes of mined gold, against 264.41 tonnes in 2018, the ministry said.

Silver production was down 11.1% year on year, slipping to 996.17 tonnes from 1,119.993 tonnes.
