Dubai: At GITEX Technology Week, Cisco will showcase its latest suite of technologies designed to advance public and private customers’ digital agendas and take customer experience to the next level. Under the theme of ‘Experience Digital Disruption in Action’, visitors will be immersed in Cisco’s range of solutions, customer stories and concept initiatives designed to create a smarter digital environment. The experience will provide a glimpse into Cisco’s industry-leading solutions using AI, Machine Learning, IoT sensory information and video analytics to bridge connections between businesses and communities.

At GITEX, Cisco will also unveil innovations under its ‘Connected Transportation’ concept, aimed at providing travellers and local institutions with greater visibility and control for public transport. To highlight how the company helps transform education, Cisco’s ‘Classroom of the Future’ will illustrate the benefits of collaboration and wayfinding solutions in increasing efficiency and improving experiences for students, teachers and staff.

“With IT spending in MENA projected to total $163 billion in 2020, businesses are increasingly realising the need for advanced digital infrastructure to help meet their objectives. At GITEX, we look forward to showing how Cisco is at the forefront of digital transformation, with the experience and advanced solutions required to facilitate a smooth and impactful transition to a digitized infrastructure” said Shukri Eid, Managing Director, Gulf Region, Cisco.

In recognition of the increasing demand and necessity for more sophisticated IT infrastructure as the foundation for digitization, at GITEX, Cisco will take customers and visitors through a connected journey, based on its secure, intelligent platform for digital businesses.

Digital innovations will be brought to life as we demonstrate how customers can:

  • Reimagine their applications: With visibility of data from the network, companies can make actionable insights. Cisco supports the fast and intelligent building and deployment of applications, enabling businesses to observe trends and anomalies and act in real-time.
  • Secure their data: Businesses require trust as their foundation, with customers and employees expecting their data to be protected. With security at the heart of the network, organizations can use Machine Learning to better collect and analyse variables - investigating, isolating and managing bad actors.
  • Transform their infrastructure: With intent-based networking, businesses can build an infrastructure that learns, adapts and protects autonomously. Cisco draws together networking, security, analytics and management to deliver a holistic approach to cloud solutions, with a single user experience – whether public, private or hybrid.
  • Empower their teams: People are the competitive advantage of any business. Collaboration technology helps businesses connect internal teams, partners and customers. AI is at the core of Cisco’s collaboration portfolio. With that, organizations can create seamless employee and customer experiences, independently from device and location.

Cisco will showcase its latest technology solutions alongside its diamond partner Smartworld, and platinum partners Alpha Data, Wipro and CNS Middle East who will be participating as sponsors to Cisco's GITEX stand.

To find out more about ‘Digital Disruption in Action’, GITEX attendees can visit Cisco’s booth at Za'abeel Gulf Comms Hall, Stand No Z1-B20 between 6-10 October 2019.
