Sharjah: Ramadan Nights 2019, which is held at Expo Centre Sharjah May 23 – June 8, is continuing to attract more visitors through a series of outstanding promotional deals and recreational activities. The fair is one of the initiatives aiming to maintain the impetus of Sharjah’s retail sector business and strengthen its position as a sought-after destination by shoppers from all over the world.

Ramadan Nights 2019 is part of the 30th edition of “Sharjah Ramadan Festival”. It offers an outstanding program with plenty of exciting deals and exclusive discounts. This gives the visitors a chance to take advantage of a massive number of offers and deals on a cross-section of the most prestigious domestic and international brands, as well as distinguished recreational programs that provide enjoyment for all family members.

23% increase in the number of visitors during the first week

In this context, H.E. Saif Mohamed Al Midfa, CEO, Expo Centre Sharjah, said: “Ramadan Nights 2019 is the largest ever since its launch with a total area of 40,000 square meters. The fair has attracted a considerable number of visitors during the first week, making an increase of 23% compared to the previous editions.”

“We are expecting a remarkable increase in the number of visitors to reach its peak at the end of the Holy Month of Ramadan and the Ensuing Eid Al-Fitr Holidays. The fair, this year, has achieved an increase of 20% in the total participating brands. This makes Ramadan Nights the largest across GCC countries,” he added.

Discounts Up to 75%

Al Midfa pointed to the extraordinary turnout of visitors. This matter confirms the importance of such type of exhibitions as one of the most renowned destinations for shopping and entertainment that meet the expectations of residents and visitors from various segments and ages.

He explained that Ramadan Nights 2019 offers its guests unprecedented discounts up to 75% on the most important brands, in addition to the final draw and the golden chance to win BMW 2019 at the end of the fair.

Ramadan Nights this year is featuring a cross-section of exhibits including; gifts, new products, perfumes, cosmetics, health care products, electrical appliances, household furnishings, furniture and interiors, textiles and fashion, clothing and sports equipment, stationery, foodstuff, natural and artificial flowers, mobile phones, computers and their accessories, children's toys, jewelry and many more.

The fair is also marked by “The UAE Heritage Village” which attracts a wide range of visitors who are impressed with heritage symbols, traditional majlis, Ramadan cannon, modern and traditional fashion which reflects the authenticity of the UAE history.

Moreover, Ramadan Nights 2019 offers a kid’s play arena, with an area of 4000 square. It includes a large number of kid’s well-selected entertainment activities, considering safety factors, as well as recreational shows, heritage symposiums, charity campaigns, and religious and health awareness.

Ramadan Nights is held from 8:00 pm to 2:00 am throughout the holy month of Ramadan and from 5:00 PM to 11:00 PM during Eid Al Fitr.
