Dubai Properties (DP) on Sunday announced the launch of a new affordable housing project targeted at companies looking to house junior to mid-level employees.
“Rahaba Residences is a brand new alternative for employers who are interested in housing all of their staff in one, central location in the heart of Dubailand, without compromising on their staff wellbeing and lifestyle,” Sahar Al Ansari, executive director of residential asset management at DP, was quoted as saying in a press statement,.
“The BTS (built-to-suit) model enables us to build an entirely new destination that will transform the way staff housing has been traditionally delivered in Dubai,” he added.
The first phase of the project will include four clusters, each consisting of two seven-storey buildings connected through a podium level, with retail space on the ground floor of each building. The buildings will include over 200 studio units, of sizes ranging from 27 to 36 square metres.
The buildings will also include a gymnasium, lounge area, nursery room, prayer rooms, outdoor basketball and volleyball courts and car parking spaces.
The new residential units are located alongside the Al Ain road, a five minute drive from The Dubai Mall.
