AlAin: The United Arab Emirates University is putting the final touches to its Pavilion at the EXPO 2020 Dubai over the next six months.

Prof. Mohammed Hassan Ali, Acting Provost, explained that the University is ready to participate in this important global event and provide exceptional experiences to visitors. 

The program of inspiring and creative activities that will help showcase how the University supports the transition of the UAE to a knowledge-based economy.

The Provost stressed the importance of a volunteer culture to societal wellbeing, and welcomed the opportunity for members of the University community to demonstrate their commitment towards civic responsibilities and services. Therefore, the Pavilion will be organised by volunteers from our students, faculty, and staff. 

He also noted that for students’ participation in the organisation of the Pavilion would help them develop their international awareness, communication skills, and confidence when dealing with people from different backgrounds.  This experience is essential for our students to prepare themselves for the job market and enhance their employment opportunities
