Mr. Nazeer Hussain, the Director of Finance and Budget of the UAE-based international business conglomerate Thumbay Group was named the 'Revolutionary CFO of the Year' at the 9th Annual MENA CFO Awards recognizing the top business leaders in the Middle East.
Mr. Nazeer Hussain was presented with the prestigious award at a ceremony held at Sofitel The Palm Dubai, on 26thOctober 2015. The CFO Strategies Forum, which hosted the awards commended Mr. Hussain for demonstrating innovation by expanding beyond accounting and control to a more active role developing strategies, articulating them internally and externally to win the support of all key stakeholders.

The CFO Strategies Forum is an annual event which brings together over 100 CFOs from across the Middle East and North Africa. The 9thedition this year was attended by an audience of CEOs, CFOs, and other financial leaders from across the Middle East, including from renowned multinational giants such as Pepsi, DP World, P&G, Pagero etc.
The awards recognize the important contribution of CFOs in delivering results and achieving success for their organizations. Mr. Hussain was selected for the award by an independent panel of judges comprised of senior Middle East financial and business executives, after assessing several nominees on multiple criteria such as business impact, innovation, transformation, leadership abilities, management, and strategy.
