Dubai: Tamdeen Group, Kuwait’s leading mixed-use property developer, presented the Hybrid Outlet concept to the retail and shopping mall industry at the Retail Congress 2019 organized by the Middle East Council of Shopping Centres and Retailers in Dubai through its upcoming project, Al Khiran Hybrid Outlet Mall. Following its great success at the Retail Congress, the project is set to be presented in MAPIC, Cannes, the international retail property market event, to important players in the retail real-estate industry later this week.  Al Khiran will be the region’s first hybrid outlet concept merging great value and heightened experiences to satisfy a changing customer with higher expectations and greater demands.

The 5 pillars of the Al Khiran Hybrid Outlet Mall were introduced to retail industry professionals at the event through a panel discussion on the “Future of Outlet Malls” where CEO of Tamdeen Mall Management, a subsidiary of Tamdeen Group, Avijit Yadav stated: “Al Khiran Hybrid Outlet Mall is set to present the mall format of the future as it combines great value with dynamic experiences through a mix of premium outlet shopping, unique dining options, cutting-edge entertainment, large format events, exhibitions and recreational leisure experiences.”

Al Khiran Hybrid Outlet Mall spreads across 350,000 m2 in the heart of Sabah Al Ahmad Sea City in the South of Kuwait with 70,000 m2 of GLA boasting many special features that will set the project apart and position it as the mall format of the future. The project will present customers with a spectacle in design and offering as it ensures that the demands of today’s customers are satisfied through a value offering of over 300 stores, vast dining options and major experience-based components like AI and tech-themed entertainment. The project is further complimented with recreational components like Kuwait’s largest marina with 900 berths, 1.25 km of beautifully landscaped park and boardwalk, the Water Gardens with their captivating water features and an active amphitheatre holding a year-long program of events. 3,700 parking spaces will also offer customer’s increased ease and accessibility.

The project was well-received by industry professionals and retailers alike as its vast offering and dynamic experiences were unfolded and discussed. Al Khiran Hybrid Outlet Mall will soon be launched as the region’s first hybrid outlet, leisure and lifestyle destination becoming a favourable shopping destination for the modern-day customer.
