Riyadh – Al Ahlia Insurance Company on Thursday said it has received the Saudi Arabian Monetary Authority’s (SAMA) approval to renew its licence.

The license has been renewed in the fields of general insurance and health insurance for three years, according to a bourse statement.

In the second quarter (Q2) of 2020, Al Ahlia turned profitable, achieving SAR 616 million in net earnings, versus SAR 5.7 million in net losses over the same quarter a year earlier.
