UAE –  Dubai Land Department (DLD) has recorded AED 20 billion worth of real estate transactions during the first three months of 2020 amid the economic consequences of coronavirus (COVID-19).

The DLD completed around 100,000 electronic transactions during the first quarter (Q1) of 2020, director-general Sultan Butti bin Majren, announced in an interview with Dubai media office.

Majren added that the department is implementing precautionary measures while welcoming customers to ensure the safety of employees and customers.

It is noteworthy to mention that on Thursday, 4 June, DLD reported over AED 1.34 billion real estate transactions in Dubai.
