Cairo – Mubasher: The Egyptian Commercial Service (ECS) on Wednesday signed a memorandum of understanding with the Information Technology Industry Development Agency (ITIDA) for the attraction of foreign investments to Egypt.

The protocol is aimed at the promotion of Egypt’s competitiveness in the global market in the Information and communications technology (ICT) sector.

The ECS and ITIDA will share studies, data, and market researches in ICT including export opportunities, international tenders, and marketing studies, Egypt’s ICT minister Amr Talaat stated.

Cooperation will cover updating of studies and data related to targeted markets, as well as the attraction of direct foreign investments, Talaat added.
