Sharjah Electricity and Water Authority (Sewa) has announced the completion and operation of two new power distribution stations, 33/11 KV, in Kalba city in Al Saf 2 and University district.

It also announced a number of maintenance and network development projects to provide better services to the population and development projects, reported state news agency Wam.

Dr. Rashid Al Leem, chairman of Sharjah Electricity and Water Authority, said that the support and follow-up of Dr. Sheikh Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, is a great incentive to exert further efforts to develop and modify networks and other projects.

Moza Al Zaabi, the director of Kalba, explained that Al Saf 2 station feeds 500 homes, and the university district station was built to supply electricity to the recently developed projects.
