Oman has approved tenders worth RO96.4 million ($250 million) for construction and infrastructure-related works for 2019, said a report.

The projects included establishment of multi-purpose investment building that contains offices, a hotel, residential and commercial units and their annexes at Ghala Heights in the Governorate of Muscat for the Civil Service Employees Pension Fund at an investment of RO54.6 million besides construction of dams in Wadi Addai in the Governorate of Muscat at RO36 million, reported ONA citing Tender Board Chairman Dr Rasheed bin Al Safi Al Hraibi.

The list also includes additional works for the RO5.02 million Al Roudha dual-carriageway project in the Governorate of Al Buraimi and also the internal tender for provision of consultancy services for supervision on designing and constructing Saih Qatnah road in Al Jabal Al Akhdhar in the Governorate of A'Dakhiliyah at RO79,400, he stated.

Al Hraibi also approved internal tender for provision of consultancy services for design and supervision of establishing Innovation Complex in Muscat at RO47,500; additional works on the tender for the design and supervision competition for establishing Oman Cultural Complex at RO350,000 besides internal tender for pprovision of consultancy services for supervision of constructing asphalt road in governorate of Musandam at RO142,094.
