Riyadh – Mubasher: Saudi Arabia’s National Water Company (NWC) has announced establishing sewage projects for households in Makkah at a combined value of SAR 149 million.

The projects which were implemented in Shawqia region amounted to SAR 75 million, while investments carried out in Batha Quraish and Al Awali stood at SAR 74.5 million, according to a statement.

These projects are part of NWC’s efforts to develop the water sector’s infrastructure, raise its efficiency, and improve water and environmental sector, the director general of Makkah Region, Mohammed bin Saleh Al Ghamdi, stated.
