Dubai: The Millennium Plaza Hotel organised a host of activities to support the global annual breast cancer awareness campaign during October. As part of the drive, the team members wore pink ribbons to highlight the importance of awareness, education and research.

Mr. Fadi Ammache, General Manager of Millennium Plaza Dubai, said, “Our participation in this meaningful campaign was part of our corporate social responsibility initiatives. Awareness of the disease plays a key role in the prevention and fight against breast cancer. Early diagnosis is critical to saving lives. Our aim at the Millennium Plaza Dubai was to spread the word to as many people as possible about this worthy cause by organizing engaging and powerful activities.”

To convey this significant message, various strategic initiatives were organised at the hotel.

Spectacular pink flowers on the centre table welcomed diners at the Metro Restaurant that offered 20 per cent discount on food and beverages from 1st to 31st October.

Another key highlight was daily ‘Happy Pink Hours’ from 13th to 17th October. Every day from 4pm to 6pm, guests were treated to complementary pink cookies, cake pops, fruit sticks, marshmallow pops and special pink drinks.

A pink themed Cake Cutting Day was organised on October 22 bringing together the hotel’s management and staff.

The Millennium Plaza Dubai also engaged with its followers digitally through a social media quiz from 6th to 10th October.
