Dubai: McGettigan’s and Bonnington Hotel will host a range of activities and promotions throughout October in support of, and to raise awareness for, Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
Breast Cancer Awareness month is held annually in October around the globe – motivating women to undertake regular checks and raise important funds for research and treatment. McGettigan’s activities are held in partnership with Al Jalila Foundation, a global philanthropic organisation dedicated to transforming lives through medical education and research.
Activities kick off this month with a special pink themed ‘McGett’s Together’ at DWTC’s branch on October 11th Where both guys and gals (taking a twist on ladies night) can buy a 50 AED food voucher and receive 3 free selected drinks.
Join McGettigan’s JLT on October 15th, as they host a “Think Pink Brunch” in support of Breast Cancer Awareness month. For AED 299 per person, guests can indulge in fabulous gastro food and beverages with AED 100 of the proceeds going to Al Jalila Foundation. Brunch-goers are encouraged to wear pink to show their support, so pull out the pink shorts, shirts, dresses and skirts and dress for the cause. You won’t stand out, as McGettigan’s will be dressing up their venue in pink to show their support.
Additional activities will be happening throughout the month including a ‘Think Pink Quiz Night’ at McGettigan’s JLT on October 19th and Ladies Nights at McGettigan’s Madinat will be taken over by Pink on October 20th. A selection of proceeds from all pink themed events at McGettigan’s will be donated to the Al Jalila Foundation.
For a change in scenery, Bonnington Hotel will also be hosting a special event for Breast Cancer Awareness Month on October 16th, from 2-5pm enjoy a scrumptious afternoon tea with scones, sandwiches, and pinked themed goodies to enjoy along with a complimentary beverage.
Al Jalila foundation, in partnership with Brest Friends, is a forerunner in raising awareness on the importance of early detection of breast cancer, furthering patient support with medical treatment and investing in local breast cancer research.
Join McGettigan’s at any of their Think Pink events to support the Al Jalila Foundation and their ongoing efforts to accelerate breast cancer research and provide treatment to patients in need.
