The group received top honours for two of its prestigious Dubai-based properties. JA Jebel Ali Golf Resort was touted as the World's Leading Family Resort and JA Oasis Beach Tower was globally acknowledged as the World's Leading Apartment Hotel at the World Travel Awards Grand Final Gala Ceremony that took place at in Morocco last month. The World Travel Awards brand is recognised globally as the ultimate hallmark of quality, with winners setting the benchmark to which all others aspire. It celebrates those organisations who push the boundaries of industry excellence and JA's management team looks forward to further enhancing their offering and heightening their achievements in the year ahead.
The global award wins were the cherry on top of numerous significant accolades for JA Resorts & Hotels last year. The hospitality brand's exceptional performance and delivery of its underlying principle of 'heartfelt hospitality received thunderous applause at the 2015 World Travel Market. Its Dubai-based and international properties were extolled for their superiority in service levels and casual luxury offering. JA's Indian Ocean properties received appreciation at the annual World Travel Awards ceremony, with Enchanted Island Resort, managed by JA Resorts & Hotels, named Seychelles' Leading Luxury Hotel Villa, and JA Manafaru bestowed honour as Maldives and Indian Ocean's Leading Hotel Suite. Dubai based JA Oasis Beach Tower was awarded Middle East's Leading Serviced Apartment Hotel and JA Jebel Ali Golf Resort was named Middle East's Leading Family Resort.
JA Resorts & Hotels also garnered acclaim at the 2015 Travel Agents Choice Awards as the Top 'Hotel/Resort for Families'. A world-renowned eco-label trusted by millions around the globe, the Blue Flag Programme is operated under the auspices of the Foundation for Environmental Education and is headquartered in Copenhagen, Denmark. In order to qualify for this prestigious award, a series of stringent environmental, educational, safety-related and access-related criteria must be met and maintained.
JA Resorts & Hotels commitment to the environment has also resulted in Green Globe certification for sustainable tourism being awarded to JA Ocean View Hotel and JA Jebel Ali Golf Resort, due to the properties' positive contributions to people and the planet. Green Globe is known worldwide to be the travel industry's leading certification programme for sustainable tourism. The certification process is based on a total of 337 compliance indicators that cover 41 criteria for sustainability.
In addition, the hospitality group has received Trip Advisor's 2015 Certificate of Excellence for Enchanted Island Resort, managed by JA Resorts & Hotels in Seychelles and Dubai-based, JA Oasis Beach Tower. JA Resorts & Hotels' properties have also been bestowed numerous Trip Advisor Traveller's Choice Awards, the highest award given by the renowned site, which is based on reviews and opinions from travellers around the world. JA Oasis Beach Tower, JA Ocean View Hotel, JA Palm Tree Court that is part of the JA Jebel Ali Golf Resort, and JA Ocean View Hotel, all received several Traveller's Choice awards in 2015. JA Manafaru Maldives has also received the Seven Stars Luxury Hospitality and Lifestyle Award, which is recognised as the most exclusive award for the pinnacle in luxury hospitality.
