• Offering a truly global perspective on heart health awareness in the society, global experts will lead a free education session titled “Heart Matters” for the general public.

DUBAI : The effects and impacts of heart diseases exceed those who are affected by them, directly impacting on the sustainable development and growth of the society, said HE Humaid Al Qatami, Chairman of the Board and Director-General of the Dubai Health Authority (DHA).

“This underlines our call for uniting the efforts to face the challenges associated with chronic heart diseases, which exhaust the people and negatively impact the economy. Prevention systems alone can prevent the prevalence of cardiovascular diseases. There is an urgent need to develop new diagnostic and treatment methods to provide the doctors and experts with the necessary tools that can help them with the early discovery and management of diseases efficiently,” he pointed out while inaugurating the 5th edition of 4TS Cardiovascular Conference in Dubai.

The 4TS 2019, one of the largest interventional cardiovascular conference in the Middle East, is organized under the patronage of the DHA in collaboration with American College of Cardiology (UAE Chapter), Emirates Cardiac Society, and International Society of Endovascular Specialists. The summit, running until February 16, 2019 at The Ritz-Carlton DIFC, will convene leading figures in cardiovascular health to share ground-breaking research and technologies.
