Grand Hyatt Muscat has appointed Ilias Doulamis as its new executive chef.

Originally from Greece, Doulamis studied in S.T.E Culinary Institute in Athens and Ecole Ferrandi in Paris. Since then he has worked in seven countries around the world and has more than 18 years of international experience working in various Michelin star restaurants such as L’Astrance, Texture and Le Meurice as well as multiple hotel groups like Aman Resorts, Rosewood and Shangri la.

Doulamis is the esteemed winner of the Hyatt Good Taste Series 2018 from the Middle East region. Before joining Grand Hyatt Muscat, he was the executive sous chef at Grand Hyatt Doha Hotel & Villas since 2016. He was instrumental in launching the highly successful Santa Monica Breakfast Club and Monkey Tales beach club in Doha. He is a member of the Slow Food International organisation and is extremely passionate about fine food and good wine.

Doulamis prides himself on a unique cooking style of modern European with a Mediterranean twist and will be focussed on developing new concepts within Grand Hyatt Muscat‘s diverse culinary offerings. - TradeArabia News Service
