Leading Cairo-headquartered architectural and interior design firm Archiform Consultants plans to drive new growth in its European business with the opening of offices in London and a joint venture with Stibich Hospitality Solutions (SHS) in Düsseldorf.

A major player in the region, Archiform Consultants boasts a broad range of projects including villas and townhouse developments, hotels and leisure facilities, commercial facilities, offices, international airports and educational institutions.

It has also delivered interior design projects for a number of royal palaces and yachts in the Middle East.

The firm has been named finalist in the Office Design category of the SBID International Design Awards 2018, organised annually by the Society of British International Design.

The Cairo-based group has already delivered projects in Germany and the UK, building on its long track record in the Middle East.

Archiform is presently showcasing its projects at the ongoing London Design Festival, which runs till September 23 in venues across the city.

"We are excited by the response from European customers and the notable success of our design projects in Germany and the UK," said Medhat Nehad, the founder and president of Archiform Consultants.

Archiform is a family business that was established in 1997 by Nehad and his wife Rehab Zordok (MBA-Liverpool), now executive director. Over the years, the firm has completed projects in Asia and Europe and the Middle East.

"Our new branch offices in London and the joint venture with Düsseldorf-based SHS move us one step closer to our customers in Europe and allow Archiform to better support its business development," remarked Nehad, who is a professional accredited member of SBID in London, UK, and a professional active member of the Syndicate of Professional Engineers in Cairo, Egypt.

Celebrating talent and design excellence across all aspects of the interior design industry, the SBID Awards has become one of the most prestigious accolades in the business accepting entries from Asia, Europe, the Middle East and North America, said its founder and CEO Dr Vanessa Brady (OBE).

“We have had an overwhelming number of entries this year from more countries than in previous awards. The calibre of finalists across all 14 categories, is a true reflection of the creative scope of the global design industry,” he noted.

Archiform‘s international sales centre project, designed for global property developer Al Marasem Development, was short-listed by the SBID panel of judges, he added.

Explaining the concept behind Al Marasem project, Nehad said: "It is a complete design story leading customers on a journey from the time that they arrive at the centre and park their cars in front of the building."

"Rather than simply creating a functional commercial space, we wanted to design a unique customer experience for visitors to the centre. A ceremonial walkway welcomes customers into a luxurious cube-shaped reception area, which uses natural daylight to provide a comfortable and relaxing atmosphere," he added.-TradeArabia News Service
