‘Highly Commended’ for Expo 2020 CoEx Campus within Community, Culture & Tourism Project category, Expo Village (Phase 1) in Residential Medium to High Rise Project category, and Dubai South Mall in Retail Project Award category

Dubai, United Arab Emirates: Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC) has been rewarded for its excellence in real estate development, with two of its projects appearing in the winners’ category at this year’s Cityscape Global Awards, which took place in Dubai on Tuesday, October 2nd.

One Central, a mixed-use development within the Dubai World Trade Centre Authority (DWTCA) free zone, was selected as the winner of the Commercial Project Award for its Offices 4 and 5, while Dubai’s first 25hours Hotel won the Leisure & Hospitality Project Award. DWTC was also highly commended for its Expo 2020 CoEx Campus, within the Community, Culture & Tourism Project category, for Dubai South Mall (developed together with EMAAR LLC) within the Retail Project Award category, as well as the first phase of development at Expo Village in the Residential Medium to High Rise Project category.

The latest Cityscape Global recognition adds to a list of awards that have been already won by One Central including, MEED Quality Award in ‘Best Commercial Development 2018’ category for Offices 2 and Offices 3, Gulf Real Estate Awards ‘Best Real Estate Project 2017’ in the commercial offices category, MEED ‘Commercial Project of the Year 2017’ for Office 1 in both the national and GCC categories, Construction Week ‘Commercial Project of the Year 2017’ for Offices 2 and 3, Big Project ‘Middle East Project of the Year 2017’, and Cityscape Global ‘Commercial Project Award 2016’ in the built category for Office 1.

25 Hours Hotel has also been recognised as ‘GCC Best Hotel Project’ and ‘GCC Best Project Architecture’ at the Gulf Real Estate Awards 2018.
