Dubai, United Arab Emirates: Dubai Land Department (DLD) confirms its eagerness to be an active part of ‘UAE Innovation Month’ 2019, the national event that celebrates innovation across the UAE, strengthening the Emirates’ position as a global innovation center and coming in line with the directives of the leadership to consolidate innovation among individuals and institutions.

This initiative aims to refine national capacities, spread the culture of innovation in the UAE, as well as motivate government entities, the private sector, and individuals to adopt innovative practices and encourage them to launch and implement innovative initiatives and ideas locally. The annual event attracts government entities, educational institutions, and national and international private sector companies, with the support of media partners, to highlight latest innovations in various sectors and educate the public with the latest Innovative projects and initiatives. During Innovation Month, DLD is presenting innovative ideas for the real estate sector to record all the procedures.

HE Sultan Butti Bin Mejren, Director General of DLD, said: “We execute our strategic plans under the guidance of our wise leadership as well as the belief in the importance of innovation and its role in helping us reach the highest levels of excellence, achieving superiority in our performance by ten years compared to the other cities around the world through our commitment to the Dubai 10x initiative. We developed a master plan to celebrate the Innovation Month in Dubai, which our city will celebrate during the last week of February.

Bin Mejren added: “This week, we will focus on a number of projects in line with UAE Vision 2021, support national aspirations based on stimulating innovation, and initiate researches for the development of science and technology as key pillars of a knowledge economy capable of competing in addition to upgrading our services. This approach will attract entrepreneurs to the UAE while providing a stimulating work environment and promoting effective partnerships between the public and private sectors."

From 24 – 28 February, the Department will highlight its latest innovations in a special exhibition that will be held at the main office, enabling its customers and employees to review these innovative achievements aimed at providing the Emirate's real estate sector with the best solutions to ensure smooth, convenient, and innovative access to services.
