Bapco growth praised

MANAMA: Bahrain’s energy sector enjoys all the support and assistance from His Majesty King Hamad and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, said His Majesty’s representative for humanitarian work and youth affairs and Nogaholding chairman Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa.

He said the vital sector is witnessing the implementation of many ambitious development projects that support the march of the national economy and contribute to sustainable development efforts in the kingdom.

He was speaking as he yesterday visited Bapco Refinery Modernisation Project site. “The energy sector is keen to keep pace with the latest technical developments and achieve the best results,” he pointed out.

He described the modernisation project as one of the key projects currently under execution, which will effectively contribute to enhancing Bapco’s competitive capabilities and placing it among the world’s largest refineries after 2022.
