Bahrain's logistics sector playing vital role in development

MANAMA: His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince Prime Minister, has emphasised the importance of the logistics sector in supporting the kingdom’s comprehensive development, led by His Majesty King Hamad.

This came as he yesterday received Industry, Commerce and Tourism Minister and Gulf Air board of directors chairman Zayed Alzayani, at Gudaibiya Palace.

HRH Prince Salman highlighted the achievements of national carrier Gulf Air throughout its 70-year history and in strengthening the kingdom’s transport and airline services regionally and internationally.

He was presented with a model airplane from the Gulf Air fleet to mark the 70th anniversary of the airline’s establishment.

HRH Prince Salman commended the chairman and board of directors’ continued efforts in further developing the airline’s performance and quality of services.

Mr Alzayani expressed his appreciation on behalf of Gulf Air staff for HRH Prince Salman’s continued support of the company’s achievements that benefit the kingdom and its citizens.
