Abu Dhabi: As part of the programme of its 18th edition, held under the theme The Future Starts Now, Abu Dhabi Festival presented the Emirates Youth Symphony Orchestra (EYSO) as its Abu Dhabi Festival Youth Orchestra concert for 2021. The concert was held at The Theatre at Mall of the Emirates in Dubai.

The broad audience of music lovers enjoyed an hour and a half of Beethoven, Camille Saint-Saëns and George Bizet, played by the UAE’s brightest young musicians, under the leadership of the famed violinist Maestro Riad Kudsi, known for his contributions to the development of musical culture in the Middle East and Europe. The orchestra also featured young virtuoso violinist Guido Felipe Sant’Anna e Silva from Brazil.

Founded in 1994 and directed by Riad Kudsi, EYSO is a unique group of young musicians in the UAE and the Arab world, devoted to cultivating the musical talent of young people by creating a cultural and artistic environment for them and their audiences.

Abu Dhabi Festival is supported by its main sponsor Mubadala Investment Company (Mubadala), and its energy partner GS Energy.
