HE Sheikha Hanadi Bint Nasser Al Thani, Founder & Chairperson of Amwal; HE Mohamed Alabbar, Founder Chairman of Emaar Properties; and Fadi Ghandour, Co-founder and Executive Chairman at Wamda, will lead the discussion, moderated by Alaa Shahine, Bloomberg News Editor for Politics and Macro-economics in the MENA region.

Roy Haddad, Director, WPP MENA, will welcome the gathering. Sunil John, Founder and CEO of ASDA’A Burson-Marsteller, and Curtis Freet, CEO of PSB Research, the international polling firm that conducted the Survey, will present the top findings.

Sunil John said: “The findings of the ninth edition of our annual Arab Youth Survey reveal important insights on the hopes and aspirations of the region’s youth – the largest demographic that forms nearly 60 per cent of the total population. We have several significant findings this year, which underline the shifting perceptions of Arab youth regarding the region and its international allies, as well as their views on contemporary international politics.”

He added: “Over the years, the Survey’s findings have served as a true barometer of what the young people feel about the region. Their views have mirrored the key events that have shaped the social and political milieu of the Middle East and North Africa region. In a region where informed data is hard to come by, our investment in this comprehensive survey has benefited our clients – in government and the private sector – in decision-making and policy creation. It also drives our focus on evidence-based communications for our clients. This year’s top 10 findings will further contribute to informed debate and tangible action to secure the huge demographic dividend of the Arab youth.”

In-depth results from the ninth Annual ASDA’A Burson-Marsteller Arab Youth Survey, including survey highlights and a white paper in Arabic and English, will be available on www.arabyouthsurvey.com post the event. White Papers on previous editions of the Survey are available on-site.
