Kuwait - ASAR - Al Ruwayeh & Partners (ASAR), one of the region's top tier firms, announced today that it has acted as Kuwait law counsel to the National Bank of Kuwait (NBK) in relation to its loan worth USD 280 million for Kuwait Styrene Company (TKSC).

TKSC's credit facility provided by NBK will be used for the company's general corporate purposes, where part of the funds will be directed to reinforce activities to enhance TSKC'S competitive edge. ASAR's Mr. Rob Little and Mr. John Cunha worked on providing legal counsel to NBK to ensure the smooth and efficient completion the transaction.
