UAE: Zulekha Hospital has re-launched its initiative, ‘Super 25’ aimed at easing the burden of medical emergencies and expenses on residents and visitors to the UAE. The healthcare provider has first launched the initiative in 2018 enabling easy access to affordable medical services in UAE. Since 2018, 69662 individuals have benefitted from the Super 25 initiative at the group’s hospitals in Dubai and Sharjah.

This year the program will be on for the next three months until December 2020 and will entitle self-pay patients to a 25 per cent discount on consultations, medical services and investigations, excluding physiotherapy, existing discounted packages, consumables and medicines. As a result of the ongoing economic slowdown over the last few months due to the pandemic, many individuals have had to adjust spends with limited financial resources. The program will help families who are on the lookout for such supportive programs.

Co-Chairperson Zanubia Shams said, “Earlier we had introduced the concept to help families who have their non-insured near and dear ones, including elders living with them or visiting them in UAE. At this time we need to continue to support our communities who are sailing through, and ensure they have access to high quality medical services when needed. Therefore we have re-launched this offering for the public. This will help reduce the stress on minds of people in medical emergencies. We are privileged to be in the healthcare industry and take this opportunity to be able support communities in this crucial time.”

The healthcare group has been known to have launched many successful CSR campaigns, including Pink it Now, Chance to Change, Screen & Survive, Save Hearts and Happy Minds over the years, offering free health checks to promote early detection and prevention of cancer, mental disorders and lifestyle diseases. In addition, the group provides free second opinion services, night and Friday clinics that have been of great help to thousands of their patrons in UAE.
