AMMAN:– The Jordan Marriott Hotels have announced the appointment of Sena Kahraman as Multi Property Director of Marketing Communications. Sena will lead the team in developing and implementing all marketing and communications across the four Marriott Hotels; Amman Marriott Hotel, Dead Sea Marriott Resort & Spa, Petra Marriott Hotel and Petra Marriott Hotel.

Bringing 17 years of experience in hospitality, Sena held various Sales, Marketing and Revenue Roles in different hotels including The Marmara Istanbul, Conrad Istanbul, Hilton Istanbul and Hilton Parksa, and the Swissotel the Bosphorus Istanbul where her Marketing journey started in 2010 as Digital Marketing Executive and in 2012 was promoted to Area Digital Marketing Executive across all FRHI Hotels in Turkey followed by Marketing Communications Manager. Early 2016 Sena joined Shangri-La Bosphorus, Istanbul as Director of Marketing Communications, a year later she moved to Oman as Director of Brand Communications at Shangri La Al Husn Resort & Spa and Shangri La Barr Al Jissah Resort & Spa. In 2018 Sena joined Marriott in Qatar as Multi Property Director of PR & Marketing Communications for the JW Marriott Marquis City Center Doha, Marriott Marquis City Center Doha and Marriott Executive Apartments City Center Doha.

Born and raised in Istanbul, Turkey, Sena holds a degree in Tourism Management from Istanbul University, also Marketing, Entertainment and PR from Cavendish College in London. Sena enjoys travelling the world as a seasoned hotelier and marketer, passionate about Yoga and is a certified teacher in Yin Yoga, Hatha Yoga, Vinyasa Krama Yoga and Mindfulness Yoga.
