The enlargement of its jurisdictional portfolio via the opening of offices in Qatar and Bahrain in 2014 was much-publicized - and, just as well-cultivated land will welcome new life in the Spring, so STA will welcome new legal talent in 2015.

Accordingly, STA is delighted to announce that senior lawyers Ms. Raja Al Saleh and Abdel Ghany Fouda MSc are the latest additions to the ever expanding teams in both Abu Dhabi and Sharjah. Sitting in its Abu Dhabi and Dubai offices respectively, STA looks forward to the contribution that their experience and knowledge of the market will inevitably bring. A UAE trained attorney with over 12 years of experience, Ms Al Saleh has rights of audience and a respectable reputation before the UAE courts. Throughout her time in practice she has established a strong and successful track record in several areas, and has represented clients in several high-profile cases before both the criminal and civil courts. Mr Abdel Ghany joins having spent some years as an in-house legal adviser to one of the nation's largest local groups. With 15 years of experience in legal practice he is considered as a leading litigation specialist.

In order to oversee its continuing best practices and facilitate further growth STA has also expanded its senior management team. Sourced from its own pool of talent, Ms Zisha Rizvi and Ms Margarida Narciso will be assuming the position of partner commencing March 1, 2015. Whilst continuing in their renowned practice areas of litigation and corporate and commercial law from the Dubai office, both will partake in the management and development of STA.
