Kuwait, Kuwait City: Ooredoo Telecom, the first to introduce innovative digital services in Kuwait, has proven itself as a first mover in constantly taking serious steps in deploying the most efficient technologies and global digital transformation trends that not only improve the customer experience, but also enhance the country’s economy and digital infrastructure that go in line with the Kuwait vision 2035 "New Kuwait", and its vision and future aspiration. Early this year, Ooredoo Kuwait collaborated with the Public Authority for Civil Information (PACI), and has officially announced the adaptation and utilization of “Kuwait Mobile ID”, a mobile application provided by the Public Authority for Civil Information (PACI) that provides users with a digital civil ID accredited for identification and digital signature for both government and private sector, for secure authentication of identities at any of its branches, sales channels, online or through the MyOoredoo application.

After the company’s huge success driven by this strategic partnership, Ooredoo Kuwait reinforced its commitment to its partners, chiefs, top management and employees, and honored their constant efforts in a special event held on Sunday, September 26, 2021 at Ooredoo Tower and recognized the outstanding achievement of the PACI integration project the launch of Postpaid and e-SIM online offerings. This step offers all Ooredoo customers the opportunity to purchase and subscribe to a new eSIM prepaid or postpaid plan, or transfer from the traditional SIM to an eSIM utilizing the “Kuwait Mobile ID” and My Ooredoo applications. Which positioned Ooredoo as the first telecom company in Kuwait and Region to offer customers the ability to conduct a complete eSIM online purchasing process. Such a milestone wouldn’t be achieved without the high skills, dedication and hard work of the teams, hand in hand with collaborating with the most efficient partners such as; Diyar United Company, NCR, IMI and Wipro.

Today, the availability of digital solutions and services has become a necessity in order for companies to improve the customer experience and increase productivity.
