UAE: Online Learning World (OLW), an AI powered platform which provides live and interactive tutoring for students, especially for supplementing school education in the safe & convenient environment of their homes, has announced 100% full winter scholarships to the first 100 students in recognition of UAE National Day.
The scholarships are open to the first 50 students between grades 3 – 8, and 9 and 11 in which they will receive extensive support in the core subjects of Science, Maths and English and will last between 2nd – 31st December. The first 50 students in grades 10 and 12 will receive a full scholarship for the core subjects of Maths, English & Science – including Physics, Chemistry and Biology, and for languages including Arabic and Hindi. These scholarships will last between 2nd December – 31st March.
Launched in the UAE in late November, OLW provides live and interactive learning opportunities for students across subjects and is aligned to the UAE Vision 2021 and is committed to building a knowledge economy, by integrating emerging technologies in their support systems and bringing top learning solutions to students.
OLW breaks down complicated chapters into simple and interesting lesson plans which clarify and enhance concept-based learning as per CBSE and ICSE curriculum, empowering students with increased self-esteem, confidence, and leadership skills. It inspires students to learn effectively by helping them understand the core concepts and building 21st century skills with the help of personalised online tutoring.
During the current pandemic, the UAE has seen a rise in the percentage of students taking private classes – in grade 12, 37% of all Emirati and 35% of all non-Emirati students sought online learning, while 67% of all parents found that their children’s overall academic performance improved a lot after private tutoring.
