Jones The Grocer announces two new openings in Doha Airport

Dubai, United Arab Emirates – Jones the Grocer announces two new planned openings in Doha Airport, as the brand continues to expand its footprint across the MENA region. The new openings include a Jones Express and Jones Social, offering travellers a wide range of world-class dining options.

Jones the Grocer opened their first Jones Social to acclaim in Dubai in April 2021. This latest opening of Jones Social in Doha’s Hamad International Airport is the first of its kind, offering a modern restaurant with a chic yet laidback setting, where world travellers can indulge in licensed, tapas-style dining inspired by global flavours.

With a successful, long-established Jones the Grocer store in Doha’s Gate Mall the opening of a Jones Express at Doha’s fast growing international airport further deepens the brand’s presence in Doha and the region. Already beloved by travellers at Dubai International Airport and in line with the brands desired to provide gourmet food for everyday living, Jones Express will be serving up their famous flat whites along with handmade pastries, gourmet, soups, sandwiches, and salads.

Commenting on the new opening, JTG Holdings Ltd & Jones the Grocer’s CEO and shareholder, Yunib Siddiqui, said, “Our Express format is tried and tested, successfully serving thousands of hungry travellers, tasty food every day. We’re thrilled to be bringing not just Jones Express, but our new kid on the block, Jones Social, to Doha airport. These openings underscore our strong partnership with the global leader in travel retail, HMS Host International”.

Jones the Grocer recently marked 25 years in industry, announcing a plan to open 10 new outlets in the MENA Region, together with an airport concentrated travel hub expansion strategy, with two additional airport openings in the pipeline over the next six months.

Jones Social and Jones Express are slated to open at Doha’s Hamad International Airport in Spring 2022.
