GlobeMed Group, the leading healthcare benefits management company in the MENA region, conducted its annual seminar for Zain Group, the leading telecommunication operator in the MENA region served by GlobeMed since 2014, in Istanbul, Turkey on the 1st and 2nd of October, 2019.
The two-day seminar was attended by top officials from Zain Kuwait, Bahrain, Jordan, Sudan, South Sudan and Iraq headed by Mr. Sufian Mahmoud, Group Insurance Director, and top experts and officials from GlobeMed Group headed by Mr. Samir Nahas, Chairman of GlobeMed Syria, Jordan, and Iraq.
The seminar focused on introducing attendees to GlobeMed’s latest services and solutions. Keynote speaker Mr. Nahas opened the seminar sessions with a presentation about micro-insurance to make insurance affordable to low-income families.
Mr. Tarek Salibi, General Manager of GlobeMed Bahrain, introduced attendees to the Implications of “Personal Data Privacy Laws” on Employers and Healthcare Cover/Insurance Cycle.
For his part, Mr. Christian Bejjani, Consultant-CRM, introduced attendees to the advanced features of GlobeMed’s Customer Relationship Management to better serve insured members, offering them a positive customer experience. International Health Services Operations Manager Dr. Georgette Al Jurdi concluded the seminar presentations with a session about GlobeMed’s “Wikayati” wellness and prevention program, the best-in-class preventive care program aiming to keep members healthy. The program covers the entire prevention spectrum from wellness and health promotion to screening for earlier detection of diseases.
The event was an opportunity to discuss concerns and suggestions by the attendees. It also facilitated the exchange of their opinions and expertise. Participants welcomed the opportunity to engage in an open group discussion. The seminar was concluded with a dinner cruise and a full day guided tour in the Old City of Istanbul.
