Meetings to build cooperation bridges among delegates, encourage global business partnerships

Manama - Bahrain Business & Professional Women International Federation (BPW) today announced that The 63rd World Congress of Femmes Chefs d'Entreprises Mondiales (FCEM), which will be held in the Kingdom of Bahrain between 23-26 March 2015, will feature a high level B2B networking event on the 24th March 2015. The congress itself, taking place under the theme "Our Bridges to the World", is being held under the patronage of Her Royal Highness Princess Sabeeka Bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa, Wife of His Majesty the King and President of the Supreme Council for Women (SCW).

The objectives of the special B2B event is to provide an opportunity for the more than 500 delegates expected to attend from around the world to engage and interact. The event will serve as a platform to encourage networking and for the creation of new business partnerships across borders and sectors. Women taking part are some of the most successful entrepreneurs from the Middle East, Europe, Asia, Africa and North America.

Joining BPW Bahrain, which is chaired by Shaikha Hind Bint Salman Al Khalifa, in the organization of the event is the Council of Arab Business Women (CABW) headed by Her Highness Shaikha Hissah Bint Saad AbdualAllah Salem Al -Sabah of Kuwait, the FCEM Ambassadress for the Arab World. Support is also being extended by the Bahrain Economic Development Board (EDB) and Tamkeen as strategic partners.

Commenting, Shaikha Hind Bint Salman Al Khalifa, President of BPW Bahrain said: "We are delighted to dedicate a full afternoon for B2B meetings at this high level business congress. We encourage all business people from the region and internationally to utilize this opportunity to network and create new avenues for cooperation. We are putting business people from different regions and sectors together in hopes that new ideas can be generated and exciting new ventures established. We are expecting great initiatives and results through trade agreements and contracts. We are currently approaching individuals, corporates and other organizations to take part in these B2B meetings, which will open doors for new businesses all over the world despite today's challenging market conditions".

She also mentioned that HH Sheikha Hessa Saad Al-Abdullah Al-Salem Al-Sabah commended on the great enthusiasm shown by the Arab Businesswomen towards this evolving exchange, trade and investment, which will be attended by a large number of businesswomen.

Ms. Laura Frati Gucci, President of FCEM, added: "One of the main objectives for FCEM is to support women in the establishment of relationships that support the growth of their businesses or in the establishment of new ventures with global partners. This forum in Bahrain will provide an excellent platform for women business leaders taking part to explore new opportunities for cooperation and business growth.
