Muscat: Pregnant women will be allowed to receive the Covid-19 vaccine without pre-booking an appointment on September 18 at Oman Convention and Exhibition Centre, Government Communication Centre (GC) said.

"In line with the World Health Organisation’s announcement of the International Day for Patient Safety, which falls on September 17, and which comes this year under the slogan (safe care for motherhood and childhood), the Directorate General of Health Services in the Governorate of Muscat announces that pregnant Omani women and residents will receive the Covid-19 vaccine without pre-booking an appointment on September 18, 2021, at the Oman Convention and Exhibition Centre from 10 am to 4 pm," GC said in a statement.
