RIYADH — Saudi Arabia’s Chief of the General Staff Lt. Gen. Fayyad bin Hamid Al-Ruwaili met here on Wednesday with Chief of Staff of Iraqi Army Lt. Gen. Abdul Amir Yarallah.

During the meeting, they reviewed bilateral relations and cooperation between the two countries, prospects for military cooperation, in addition to discussing issues of common interest.

Earlier in the day, Supervisor General of the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Centre (KSRelief) Dr. Abdullah Al-Rabeeah, who is also a royal adviser, met with the chief of staff of the Iraqi army.

During his meeting with the Iraq army chief, Dr. Al-Rabeeah reviewed the works, achievements, and programs KSRelief has carried out since its inception in a number of countries and for a number of people of the world, including Iraq.

They also discussed issues relating to humanitarian and relief affairs between the two countries and ways of enhancing them. — SG
