Cairo - Mubasher: Kuwait’s investments in Egypt have amounted to $2.8 billion reflecting a business of 1,247 companies, head of the Kuwaiti side in the Egyptian-Kuwaiti Cooperation Council said.

The gulf nation has invested in a number of sectors, namely services, tourism, construction, industry, agriculture, petroleum and banking, Mohamed Jasem Saqr told Middle East News Agency (MENA).

In 2018, Kuwait was the largest third Arab in terms of investments in Egypt. It ranked fourth among the world’s largest countries investing in the republic, with total cumulative investments of $15 billion.
